Drawing inspiration from the archives through both the design and selected materials, these Nike GTS ‘16 TXT Shoes are built with durable all black canvas uppers edged with smooth suede around the front of the toes. The tongue is made from a combination of canvas and is adorned with signature Nike Swoosh branding embroidered in black for a subtle effect. Flat cotton laces offer a secure fastening that threads through metal eyelets and contrasting team orange Swoosh ticks adorn either outer panel, bringing signature branding and a bright pop of colour to the design. Throughout the inside a combination of a soft fabric lining and a foam sockliner ensures a comfortable ride, whilst the layered white outsole provides impact support alongside a grip focused tread design with a herringbone pattern in selective areas.

Continuing to re-release much loved classics alongside new styles that incorporate detailing from archival models, Nike stay focused on their pursuit for performance driven footwear combined with forward thinking aesthetics. The Nike GTS ‘16 TXT includes accents that link back to the first Nike GTS shoebox with bright team orange inserts against a rich black background. Originally a classic tennis sneaker, the GTS has been updated for modern day skateboarding.
